Là où tu es le Paradis is a composition of green zelliges with gold leaf inserts. The first verse of a poem by Rumi, this work evokes a longing that transcends place — where presence itself becomes paradise.
The triangular cut of each tessera creates a fragmented effect, as if the surface were caught mid-shimmer, perpetually dissolving and reforming. The gold inserts trace a horizon line, recalling the meeting point between sky and Mediterranean sea.
